Good news for domestic tourism!
Mexico has announced a significant reduction in cruise passenger fares, representing a significant boost for the sector. Instead of the initial $42 USD, travelers will now pay only $5 USD , with gradual increases reaching $21 USD by 2028 ( wsj.com ).
Why is this important to ADVI?
🇲🇽 Stimulates cruise tourism : The reduced rate makes Mexico even more competitive in the international cruise market.
🤝 Opportunities for Agents : With lower prices, ADVI agents can benefit their clients and increase sales of packages that include destinations like Cancun, Riviera Maya, and Cozumel.
📅 Greater presence at conventions : This topic will be a focus of discussion at the upcoming ADVI Convention, where we will analyze trends and strategies to take advantage of this change.
Upcoming Event – ADVI Convention 2025
